Trusting your crisis, your child's problems, your marriage or fears of the future to someone new might seem like a big step. However, if you are tired of feeling stuck in anxiety, anger, confusion or sadness, our therapists want to help you start moving forward again.

We have been providing high-quality treatment and assessment in Somerset and Morristown, New Jersey for many years. We have experience with a variety of diagnoses, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, traumatic stress disorders, relationship issues and school problems. We provide individual treatment, couples counseling and family therapy. Our specialty areas include play therapy, crisis assessment, EMDR, LGBTQ clients, supervised therapeutic visits/reunification therapy, custody and forensic assessments, as well as learning evaluations.

Dr. Tammy Dorff and Dr. Linda Tamm co-founded Strides In Psychotherapy in 2007 in order to create a safe, caring environment for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families of all races, religions, ethnicities, and gender and sexual orientations. We are proud to be joined by Dr. Amy Kavanaugh, Dr. Erica Pass and Dr. Elizabeth Smith, all of whom are also truly dedicated therapists. Our Somerset office is handicap accessible.
